A: From Anchorage: Take 5th Ave out of Downtown. Continue onto the Glen Highway for 34 miles; the Glen Highway turns into the Parks Highway. Continue for 224 miles and turn right before the Carlo Creek bridge.

From Fairbanks: Drive on Airport Road, take the AK-3 S ramp toward Anchorage/Denali Park, drive 130 miles south and turn left to The Perch after the Carlo Creek bridge.

Q: What is the weather like in Denali National Park?

A: Usually in the 60’s, mixed rain and shine. You can check current Denali weather at forecast.weather.gov.

Q: What time does the sun go down?

A: On solstice, June 21st, the sun doesn’t really go down — it doesn’t get dark in Alaska until late August.

A: The Perch is located 13 miles south of Denali National Park.

A: 14 miles north of The Perch there is a small grocery store and gas station.

A: We are located at Mile 224 of the Parks Highway (Hwy 3) — three and a half hours north of Anchorage and two hours south of Fairbanks.

A: Denali National Park is open from May 20th to September 20th.
